Our research programs aim at understanding the cooperation between (altered) epigenetic and transcription factors, and define their downstream targets; they will allow to identify important gene regulatory mechanisms in hematopoietic development and are also susceptible to give rise to therapeutic strategies.

Scientific

  • Studies of the functional consequences of the expression of mutant forms IDH1 and IDH2 in AML: these studies have found practical applications in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of these pathologies, in particular by showing the reversible nature of the differentiation blockage linked to IDH abnormalities during treatment with specific inhibitors of these mutations
  • Preclinical studies of the pharmacological inhibitors Enasidenib and Ivosidenib used in the clinic; validation of a biomarker (2HG)
